The party cautiously approaches the White Dragon. They learn that he was sent to cause chaos by Lionis. Kali convinces him to go North to her homeland assuring him that Lieutenant Dan and Lucrecia will welcome Cryovane in their icy town where he can set up a lair. He takes the bell and flies off.
As they all resting for the night Burr turns into a wererat. Kali and Diz are able to restrain him and lock him in the chapel for the night. They make a two day journey back to Phandalin, tying up Burr every evening to be on the safe side. He does not turn again. When they enter the city, their first stop is to go to the Pointy Quill. Diz asks Navin to work up some label options for the wine she is making, Don Jon Perignon. The Party goes to bed at the inn and decides they will see the Council in the Morning.
When they enter the council chambers, they are met by Ilyana and a striking woman dressed all in gold. Her skin is dark but appears to glow with a radiant light. Her afroed hair is gathered into the three ponytails and her eyes seem to pierce through the parties very souls. The dragons quickly let their rider’s know that this is Menet, the Ancient Gold Dragon in human form.
After giving the party a substantial reward for chasing off the White Dragon (minus a small fee for the loss of the prize cow), Menet questions why the group decided to abandon their mission of infiltrating Leonis’ camp. Diz shoots back that she doesn’t see why the Council is doing more in this situation and it is being left up to them as new riders. After a long pause, Menet explains to Diz that just because she does not see something happening, doesn’t not mean nothing is being done.
Davral Brickshaper and his dragon Melbort the Ancient Red Dragon have been sent to the Spine of the World. They are to travel to the the Kingdom of Many Arrows to convince the Orcs to strike a peace and join in the fight against Lionis. Barek Orc Slayer and his dragon Eve the Ancient Silver Dragon have been sent to the Frozen Forest. This is the last known location of the leader of the elves and they are to try and convince them to join the fight against Lionis. Kelara Shadowalker and her dragon Andyss the Ancient Green Dragon were sent to the Nelanther Isles to try and convince the giants and other various races to join the fight against Lionis. Venfi of the Forest and her dragon Jarvos the Ancient Black Dragon were sent to the Wood Sharp Teeth to try and convince the lycanthropes, satyrs, and dryads to join the fight against Lionis.
Menet explains to Diz that everyone has a part to play in the vastness of the world. The party explains thar they may be able to convince to Kraken to join them in the fight and Menet agrees that this would be very helpful and they would try to come up with another plan for infiltrating the camp. Before they leave Kali asks if there is anything she can research to try and help Burr’s condition. Ilyona laughs and quickly casts a spell curing him and gifts Kali with a scroll of Remove Curse so she can learn the spell for herself.
When heading back to the Inn, the party sees that at the end of the week the comedy show will take place and decide to spend some time in town so that Burr can take on his brother Bo. Burr works on his comedy routine. Kali researches evermeet and the sword in the library. Diz puts time and money into his college/winery.
